The Georgia Municipal Clerks Association (GMCA) is accepting nominations for the prestigious award of 2023 Municipal Clerk of the Year. Each year the GMCA recognizes a Municipal Clerk whose Municipal Governing Body/Management has submitted a nomination for the award based on the following:

• Membership in GMCA– this is a mandatory requirement. (Download the membership brochure here)
• Job performance, experience, accomplishments, and quality of work.
• Length of service.
• Professional development – leadership, education, and service.
• Invaluable support to the staff and community.

This annual Award is an incredible opportunity to recognize individuals amongst a community of Municipal Government peers. Please consider submitting a nomination for your Municipal Clerk to the 2023 Municipal Clerk of the Year Award Committee.

The Clerk of the Year Award recipient will be announced at the June 2023 GMA Annual Convention in Savannah.
